Roast Chicken with Ssamjang (Ssamjang Dak Gui)

Directions

  • Score the chicken thighs on both sides with a sharp knife and marinate in milk for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  • Mix ssamjang, oligo syrup, black pepper, cooking wine and ginger juice to make the sauce.
  • Drain the chicken from the milk and mix with sauce and let marinate for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  • Preheat the oven to 170
  • After 1 hour, place the chicken in a baking tray and cook for 20 minutes on each side or until the chicken is completely cooked.

  • Milk 80 ml
  • O'Food Mild Ssamjang 60 gr
  • O’Food corn malt syrup 10 ml
  • Black pepper 1 gr
  • Cooking wine 10 ml
  • Ginger juice 5 ml
